Construction began this past spring on The Promenade of Wayzata, a mixed-use development going up in the former Wayzata Bay Center site. The North and Superior blocks are to be completed in late 2013, according to John Mehrkens with developer Presbyterian Homes & Services.

For more than three decades, Greenwood resident Rob Evans has been windsurfing. A Minnetonka High School graduate, Evans has competed in hundreds of windsurfing regattas around the world, and August 23–26 Evans will compete in the 2012 Kona North American championships.

 

The tail-end of the summer is precious to Minnesotans for many reasons, not the least of which is the Great Minnesota Get Together.

 

What do you like most about your district? The great people: students, teachers, support staff, administrators, school board members and parents.

 

On weekdays between the months of September and June, the Hoffman residence in Minnetonka could be considered a 21st-century version of the old one-room schoolhouse.

 

Even the loftiest achievements are built day by day, and these five exceptional high school students are living proof. They deserve recognition for their multiple awards and honors, as well as for their quotidian commitment to excellence.
